I also have a mild interest in rollerblading, which used to be a big interest, but OBU has made that interest fade. Well, i thought i would actually give this thing a shot and update it for once.  A TON of things have changed since I last updated.  I've gotten married, I live in memphis now, and I work for a coproation that has roughly 3500 employees in this one division.

I have made a goal for myself to not adapt to the "corporate" way of life.  It really does get tiring seeing people who call you their friends stab you in the back or go behind you and claim work for themselves just to make them look better.  I really don't understand the Memphis and/or Corporate way of life.  I thought that people in Jonesboro couldn't drive?  Well, they are some of the best drivers on the planet when compared to Memphis drivers.  I wonder if these people take their brains out and put them in the passenger seat when they get in the car.  They don't know what a blinker is, they sure don't know what a speed limit means.  Geeze, and the people don't even have any consideration for anyone else but themselves.  I am kind of hoping that I can move back into Arkansas sometime soon where people actually know that at a redlight you can turn right if it's clear

Other than that things are going pretty good.  Razorback season is almost over, SEC Championship is Saturday and I am really hoping we can pull off a win!  I really think these guys deserve it, they've worked so hard and come back from so much.  I've become an avid football fan this season.  I remember getting mad at my dad for watching it so much, but I can't help it, I've been converted to like it too.  The weather is supposedly going to take a turn for the worse starting on thursday night, I hope it's just a little cold weather and maybe a little rain but nothing more.  I don't want to drive to Atlanta in that bad weather.  Ok, there is a lot more going on and much  mroe to write, but I am still buidling up some confidence Xanga, so maybe more next time

So I thought I would try this twice in one month and wouldn't you know it, I came one day short.  Oh well, So life has been really good here lately.  I am currently in the process of designing and running the lights for the musical "Beauty and the Beast" that my high school is putting on, opening up this Thursday.  Things are going really well, and I have been really happy with the outcomes so far.  I think I could really get into this thing.  It's the first time the director has actually let me do what I wanted to do.  We have gone over budget pretty bad on this one, but it's all been worth it.

Apartment is still good, bills are bad, but I'm not dying just yet.  Today marks exactly 4 months until "the day" so the countdown has definately begun.  I have to get my tux's ordered and everything will pretty much be set in place.  I do hope that everyone who reads this has a chance to come.  I don't know how many invitations I'll be able to send out, those are expensive, but do know that you are welcome to come.  Well, that's about all I got to say, if you're curious of any of my contact info, take a look at my facebook, I keep it as updated as possible.  If I haven't talked to you in a while, hello!  Hope to talk you all soon.  Till next time....

WOW, it has been a really long time since I have posted on this thing.  It appears it is a little bit easier to keep up on facebook, than it is here.  Maybe it's because I'm to lazy to wrtie anything here.  I am not even sure if anyone even reads these anymore, well mine at least, since I haven't updated since November!

Well, for those that might read this, here is a little update on my life.  As of January 20th, I have officially become a citizen of Memphis TN, and have a new job working at Physiotherapy Associates here in Germantown.  I really like my new job, it is definitely completely different from what I am used to from my old job.  The people here actually care about you, and they want you to have a good day and they understand the trials and tests of working in a real IT department.  Yes, I seem to talk to a lot of crazy people every day who don't even think to check to make sure their computer is plugged in before getting in touch with me to say that their computer has mysteriously quit working, but, it's still way better than my other job.

Physio is a physical therapy corporation owned by the Stryker corporation, for those of you who wish to know.  We have over 500 clinics all over the nation, from California to Maine.  I work in the corporate office, otherwise known as division by the people here.  All in all, this place is really great.  My new apartment is wonderful as well, I really really do want all of my friends to come see me sometime.  I actually have a place that we can hang out, and I am in a city that has plenty to do, but no one will come see me  That deserves the sad face so there, you got it.

On a lighter note, for those of you who haven't heard, I am getting Married!  Yes, it's true, on July 1, 2006 I will be a married man.  It's kind of a scary thought I know I know, but it is true.  This is yet another reason I would love for everyone to come see me while I still have the flexibility to go out and do whatever whenever, but anyway, I think I have written enough.  I usually am online while I am at work, so feel free to IM me, or call me.  I have a new number, so you should probably ask for it   Ok, it's now 7:30 and I need to get a little work done.  I hope that someone finds this to read, but for those of you who have been saying so, here is my update, enjoy,

till next time....

So I was thinking I'd post while there was nothing going on at work, then I began to think, I have nothing to post about.  Pretty much realizing today that the company I work for sucks and apparently cares nothing about any of its employee's.  Sucks for me!  I didn't know I went to college for 4 years at a good school to be a computer guy, only to be treated like I am in high school just b/c I'm the youngest guy here and apparently can do anything that anyone asks, even work a 12 hour shift for a completely department for a week.  Oh the joys of the real world, those of you still in school, STAY THERE!!

Sorry for the depressing post.....take it as you wish, comment if you feel like it.  till next time....

Well, I definately had a great weekend.  Coming back to OBU this time had a better feeling because I actually saw people.  Tiger Tunes was great!  Congrats to the tri chi's (aka XXX)  on their win, I really enjoyed the show as well as everyone else's.  I was sad to leave, but happy to be back in my bed.

Chiotes, great job with the drop-in, I really enjoyed getting see all of you guys, and good job with the food girls, sausage balls were amazing!!   I really miss being around all of you as often as we used to, but know that I am still praying for each and everyone one of you, and I know that God has great things in store for you there.  Ryan, keep the guys fed on the word, they can't survive with out it, and can't pursue anything without your direction.  Keep up the good work.

Apparently I got thoroughly exhausted this weekend, and my alarms went on strike this morning, none of which went off.  It's a good thing that my cousin came in my room just 25 minutes before I had to leave to see if I was awake yet.  Chris may be making a quick trip to Walmart or Target tonight to check out new alarm clocks.  I need one of those that reaches out and grabs you and picks you up and all that good stuff, you know a really strong one.

Well, sitting here at work like the old man that I've become.  There really isn't a whole lot going on today, I think I'll go lay down in the computer room and take a nap, now that sounds like a plan.  Well, thanks again everyone for a great weekend, I am really glad I got to see you all.  OHHH, and sarah kelly, yes I did it again, and I apologize, I promise I'll make it up to you, you're gonna have to start calling and reminding me  so that I don't forget to come by and see that apartment of yours.

Well, back to work I go.  Till next time....
